How does FormSeal work? |
| |
FormSeal is based on a client-server model. On the client side user can digitally sign the forms easily through the web browser and submit it to the server where it is verified. |
| |
 |
| |
|
|
FormSeal client component |
| |
The FormSeal client component enables users (on the client side) to digitally sign and submit data through forms (HTML / Oracle), including attachments. This signing occurs on the client side. |
| |
|
| |
FormSeal supports both Windows clients and UNIX / LINUX clients. FormSeal client component auto-downloads for Windows clients, while for the Unix clients, a script file gets downloaded and the user needs to run this to install the client component. |
| |
|
|
FormSeal server component |
| |
On receiving the users' data from the client machine, FormSeal server component verifies the information before accepting it and returns a receipt to the user for the transaction. All verification occurs on the Server side and verification provides information on the validity, trust and expiry of the certificate that was used to sign. |
